Love in Bloom

Hilltop Flower Co. is accepting pre-orders for their bouquets and arrangements featuring a classic Valentine’s Day palette of ruby reds, blush pinks, and soft whites. Bouquets come gently hand-wrapped in recyclable paper and arrangements are presented in a classic glass vase and bouquet box.⁠ Hilltop will be offering both in-store pickup and local delivery, starting Friday, February 10th, and will be open on Valentine’s Day for pickups and last-minute orders.

Another one of our talented local floral designers and Kennett Blooms: Floral Flash participants, Zena Florist, is offering Designer’s Choice Valentine’s Day arrangements. They’re “the perfect floral arrangement using the freshest flowers with the best value for your Valentine.”

Portabellos is celebrating twelve years of special Valentine’s Day menus.

Night Out

Portabellos’ twelfth annual Valentine’s Day celebration menu created by Chef Brett includes Oysters Amore and Filet Mignon. Call for reservations for seatings available between 5pm and 8pm.

The special five-course prix fixe Valentine menu at Letty’s Tavern, with an optional wine and chocolate pairing, is available by reservation only from 5pm to 9pm.

For a more casual Valentine’s Day celebration that gives back to a good cause, enjoy dinner at The Market at Liberty Place on February 14th. Fifteen percent of all food sales that evening will be donated to Good Neighbors Home Repair, a local nonprofit dedicated to repairing homes so families have warmer, safer, drier, and healthier places to live.

For a fun, no-date-needed pre-Valentine evening with prizes and special cocktails, head to Grain KSQ for their Valentine’s Classic Bingo on Wednesday, February 8th.

Taste Local Eats will deliver local love to your Galentine, Valentine, and family and friends with curated gift boxes including the Chocolate Lovers and S’mores at Home gift boxes. Nationwide shipping is also available for those who want to send a taste of home to loved ones. Order deadline is February 7th.

Sweet treats are always in abundance at Mrs. Robinson’s Sweets and Treats, you can pre-order a special cake from Deisy’s Cakes, and there’s still a chance that the new Lola Pâtisserie, with its artisan made French pastries, might be open just in time for Valentine’s Day!
