Morning: Grab Breakfast to Fuel Your Day

Start your day with a hearty breakfast to gear up for all the Winterfest fun!

  • Hank’s Place on Route 1 in Chadds Ford – classic breakfast plates in a welcoming atmosphere. The line is often out the door, but for good reason! Plan ahead to give

yourself enough time to sit down, sip your coffee, and enjoy a big breakfast.

If you want to head into town along State Street, there are plenty of great options:

  • Cafe Emis – cozy Greek café serving fresh pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. I personally love their breakfast burrito. Perfect for easing into the day.

  • Philter Coffee – classic coffee shop vibes with carefully crafted coffee from Ceremony Coffee. Grab a table and savor your cup.

  • Talula’s Table – known for amazing scones, breakfast sandwiches, and espresso drinks. More of a grab-and-go spot if you’re ready to head to the festival.

  • Mary Pat’s Provisions – located inside the market at Liberty Place, offering great omelets and traditional breakfast favorites.

  • Chaikhana Chai – closest to the festival, located on Birch Street. Cozy atmosphere, an impressive menu, and the most amazing chai.

After breakfast, take a stroll down State Street and explore some local shops:

…and see what other boutiques and stores are open along the way!

The part we’ve all been waiting for: Winterfest Fun

So Much to Experience at Kennett Winterfest

Music Stage Schedule – Don’t Miss a Beat!

Live Music Schedule

12:30–1:15 PM | Blank Pages
Kicking off Winterfest, Blank Pages brings blues-rock and pop-rock energy with melodic guitar riffs, catchy hooks, and a sound that pulls you in fast. Hailing from Newark, DE, they’re known for electric live performances and have sold out venues like The Queen in Wilmington—expect a feel-good set that sets the vibe for the day.

1:20–2:00 PM | Delco Donny
Next up is Delco Donny, the viral TikTok sensation portrayed by Philly-area singer-songwriter Jake Dillon. Famous for pop and rock covers delivered in a unmistakable Delaware County accent, his performances are equal parts music and entertainment. From Wawa parking lots to ACME grand openings, Delco Donny knows how to work a crowd—and this set will be no exception.

2:00–4:00 PM | The Tisburys (Headliner)
Closing out the day, The Tisburys take the stage with their high-energy indie rock and power-pop sound. This Philadelphia-based band has been named Artists to Watch by WXPN 88.5 and featured on Steven Van Zandt’s Underground Garage. Since forming in 2015, they’ve shared the stage with acts like The War on Drugs, Gin Blossoms, Jenny Lewis, and Neon Trees. Get ready for an unforgettable, headline performance to cap off Kennett Winterfest.

Other Winterfest Entertainment:

Relax in the ACE Backyard BBQ—featuring cozy fire pits with Adirondack chairs, cornhole yard games, and a Traeger grill setup where you will be able to enjoy free samples courtesy of Kennett Square Ace Hardware.

Don’t miss the Band of Media Brewers (BOMB) Home Brew Demo—learn the basics of home brewing while enjoying the unmistakable aroma of hops filling the air.

Home brew demo: learn how to make beer at home and smell the hops in the air!

Food & Drink

Sip unlimited samples from over 60 breweries and enjoy the delicious food truck lineup. Whether you’re craving a cheesesteak from Claymont Steak Shop, a creative pizza cone from Tom’s Handcrafted Pizza Cones, something sweet from Dia Doce Cupcakes, or a funnel cake to share with friends, there’s something for every appetite!

Shopping & Vendors

Explore local vendors for unique finds. Boundless Permanent Jewelry is a must—I got a permanent bracelet last Winterfest, and it’s still sparkling a year later! Check out The HiFi Attic, bringing an amazing vinyl collection for music lovers to check out.

Keep the Celebration Going

Before the festival ends, grab a coffee from the Mayday Coffee Cruiser as your afternoon treat. After Winterfest, many festival attendees keep the fun going and walk to Braeloch Brewing Co.  to chill out in a laid-back atmosphere, and enjoy tasty food with their new festival friends, or you can venture a bit further down Birch Street to The Creamery. If you’re traveling North on Route 1, stop by BierHaul in Thornton – excellent menu with a welcoming taproom.

A Celebration That Gives Back

The trifecta of Kennett’s three signature festivals is what funds Kennett Collaborative. When you attend Kennett Winterfest—and its sister festivals—you’re doing more than enjoying great food, drinks, and music. You’re directly supporting the nonprofit that funds holiday décor, community programming, and beautification projects that make Kennett Square shine year-round.

Mark your calendars:
