Victory Brewing Company is raising a glass to the Kennett Square community with the release of Borough Brew, a special collaborative beer launching Thursday, September 10 at the Victory Brewing Company Kennett Square taproom.

Created in the spirit of hospitality and collaboration, Borough Brew brought together members of Kennett Square’s food and beverage community for a day of brewing at Victory. Representatives from Braeloch Brewing, Giordano’s, El Ranchero, 2SP Brewing Company, Letty’s Tavern, La Verona, The Creamery of Kennett Square, and Kennett Golf & Country Club joined the Victory team to create a beer celebrating the businesses, people, and community that make Kennett Square such a special place.

The result is a smooth and malty dry-hopped lager with notes of berry, melon, and pear, brewed in Kennett Square and in the spirit of community collaboration. Borough Brew has an ABV of 5.1%.

Lauren McCloskey, General Manager of Victory Brewing in Kennett Square, was the mastermind behind the collaborative beer and shared what inspired the idea:

“I wanted to get know my fellow restaurant owners and operators. What better way than through brewing something together. This beer is a dedication to our community’s hospitality. All of us creating a third space for friends, family and newcomers alike to experience our beautiful community. It’s a privilege and a pleasure to be part of Kennett Square.”

Beginning September 10, Borough Brew will be available exclusively on draft at Victory Brewing Company’s Kennett Square taproom. For every Borough Beer sold, $1 will be donated to Kennett Collaborative, supporting the nonprofit organization’s work to help Kennett Square thrive through community programming, events, economic development, and placemaking.

The community is invited to celebrate the official release of Borough Beer at Victory Brewing Company in Kennett Square on Thursday, September 10 at 4:00 p.m.
