“I don’t do it for the money. I do it for the community.” — Kathleen Rosci

For Kathleen Rosci, wellness has never been about a single service. It’s about creating a space and experience where people feel supported, restored, and connected.

Over the past several years, Kat has transformed a corner of Mill Road into a destination for self-care and community. What began as Studio di Rosci, an elevated salon and spa rooted in clean beauty and intentional wellness, has grown into a collection of complementary businesses including Caffè Pura and Aria Drip Lounge. Together, the three businesses form a wellness retreat—one where guests can nourish their mind, body, and spirit all in one place.

While Kathleen is often credited for bringing the vision to life, she is quick to point out that she didn’t do it alone.

“I’ve been so lucky,” she says. “So many people have helped me along the way. Everyone believed in what we were creating and wanted to help make it great.”

Kathleen’s journey began more than 25 years ago. Inspired by her mother, a hairstylist and salon owner, she entered the beauty industry as a teenager.

“My mom opened a salon business, so I decided to go that route,” Kathleen recalls.

For 22 years, she worked alongside her mother while raising five children. During that time, she developed a passion not only for hair, but also for skincare, wellness, and permanent makeup. She eventually launched a small skincare and permanent makeup studio of her own, often working a full-time job while building her business on evenings and weekends.

Her dream, however, was always to return to Kennett Square.

“My heart is here in Kennett,” she says. “I’ve lived in a lot of places, but Kennett always felt like home.”

When the opportunity finally presented itself, Kathleen opened Studio di Rosci, bringing her vision for a modern, wellness-focused salon to life.

Building Studio di Rosci

Today, Studio di Rosci is known for offering an elevated salon and spa experience rooted in clean beauty and sustainability.

The salon uses imported Italian color lines that are non-toxic and free from the harsh chemical smells often associated with traditional hair color. Kat carefully selects products that align with her philosophy of wellness, sustainability, and transparency.

Among the salon’s offerings is Kat’s top recommendation, the Head Spa experience, designed to combine scalp health, relaxation, and self-care into a deeply restorative treatment.

“We’re always looking for products that align with everything we want to offer,” Kathleen says. “The values behind what we use matter.”

Just as important as the services themselves is the team behind them. Kathleen credits much of Studio di Rosci’s success to the talented professionals who have helped build the business, including longtime team members who trained under her mother through apprenticeship programs and grew alongside the company.

“It’s hard to build a great team in this industry,” she says. “I’ve been fortunate to attract incredible people who genuinely care about what they do.”

A Café Built on Community & Wellness

As Studio di Rosci continued to grow, another opportunity emerged.

A conversation about the need for a café in the Mill Road community sparked an idea. Kathleen took the leap and launched Caffè Pura, a wellness-focused café offering thoughtfully sourced beverages and food.

“We really needed a café back here,” she recalls. “And I thought, why not?”

Creating the menu came with challenges. Without a traditional kitchen, Kathleen and her team had to think creatively while remaining committed to quality.

“We want the highest-quality ingredients at an affordable price point,” she says.

Today, guests can enjoy premium matcha, organic teas, fresh juices, and specialty offerings sourced from trusted producers. Caffè Pura features a bakery display case stocked with Patisserie Lola’s small-batch artisan pastries. Kathleen is constantly researching and seeking out products she believes are among the best available.

The space on Mill Road has also become a vibrant gathering place for the community, hosting everything from powerful sound healing journeys to pop-up tattoo events, with tea ceremonies on the horizon. Kathleen loves seeing the space come alive with people connecting, sharing experiences, and building community.

“I don’t do it for the money,” Kathleen says. “I do it for the community.”

Expanding Wellness with Aria Drip Lounge

Most recently, Kathleen expanded her wellness vision again with the addition of Aria Drip Lounge.

The IV therapy and wellness center offers personalized treatments designed to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Guests consult with medical professionals who customize treatment plans based on individual needs, making wellness more accessible and effective.

“It’s another way to help people feel their best,” Kathleen says.

The addition of Aria reflects Kathleen’s belief that wellness should be holistic—addressing both how people feel on the inside and how they care for themselves on the outside.

More Than a Business

Throughout her career, Kathleen has become known for bringing together talented people with positive energy. Today, nearly 20 employees work across Studio di Rosci and Caffè Pura, helping bring her vision to life each day.

She credits that success not only to hard work, but also to the mentors, friends, collaborators, and team members who believed in her along the way.

“Everyone helped build this,” she says.

When she’s not managing her businesses, Kathleen prioritizes many of the same wellness practices she encourages in others, including yoga, exercise, healthy eating, and time spent in nature.

For Kathleen, the mission remains simple: create experiences that help people slow down, reconnect, and feel cared for.

Whether someone visits for a salon appointment, a matcha latte, a restorative head spa treatment, or an IV therapy session, the goal is always the same.

“We want people to come in and feel good,” Kathleen says. “To feel like they’re being treated well.”
